Alan Reynolds

[1926 - ]

Alan Reynolds was born in Newmarket, Suffolk in 1926.  He studied at Woolwich Polytechnic and won a scholarship to the Royal College of Art from where he graduated in 1953.

 

He exhibited in London with the Redfern Gallery on numerous occasions between 1952 and 1974. Since 1978 he has exhibited with Annely Juda Fine Art.  He has had solo shows in Switzerland, Germany, France and Sweden and a retrospective at Kettle’s Yard in Cambridge in 2003.

His work is represented in permanent museum collections worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York;  National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa;  Tate, London;  Victoria & Albert Museum, London and the National Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney.

He lives and works in Kent.
