Martyn Brewster was born in Oxford in 1952. He studied at Hertfordshire College of Art and Design, and subsequently at Brighton Polytechnic.

He has exhibited widely throughout the UK, for many years with Jill George Gallery and most recently with Waterhouse & Dodd. His work is in numerous public and corporate collections and in private collections worldwide.

He lives and works in Bournemouth.
